Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 June 2026
Wingman is a study app from Paradaxiom that helps UK trainee pilots prepare for the PPL(A) Air Law theory exam. It is intended for adults. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use it. In short: we don't ask you to sign in, and we don't store your questions or the AI's replies.
No account, no personal data
The app has no sign-in and does not ask for your name, email address, or other personal details. We do not build a profile of you.
What is processed when you use the coach
When you ask the in-app coach for help, the app sends the current question's identifier, the answer you selected, and whether you asked for help or got it wrong. Our backend uses that to build a prompt and forwards it to our AI provider (Amazon Bedrock) to generate guidance, which is streamed back to you.
We don't store it
Your inputs and the AI's replies are processed in memory only to produce the response, and then discarded. They are not written to a database or to logs we keep. Nothing you type into the coach is retained after your request completes.
No tracking or advertising
This version contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. Any diagnostic logs stay on your device.
Service providers
Hosting and AI processing run on Amazon Web Services (AWS), including Amazon Bedrock, in AWS regions in the UK / EU. AWS processes the request data on our behalf solely to return a response; see the AWS Privacy Notice.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 18.
Your rights
Because we do not hold personal data that identifies you, there is normally nothing for us to retrieve or erase. If you have any privacy question, contact us and we'll help.
Changes
We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version.
